Who better to interview one of Fashion's greatest minds, Mr Karl Lagerfeld but, ...Himslef???
Of Course!!!
For those of you who don't know who he is, Karl Otto Lagerfeld is a world renown German Fashion Designer. He is known for his work as Head Designer and Creative Director for Fashion house CHANEL and his Reconstruction of the brand FENDI. He also has his own Fashion House KARL LAGERFELD

He's just a Skater Boy at Heart

Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. better know as Lil Wayne has a clothing line out, and if you didn't realize it already, it's Sk8er Chic!!!!!

Let's face it, we all Knew Lil Wayne was always a skateboard riding, punk rock loving, mohawk rocking, graphic tee wearing DUDE!!!

 

I was just a matter of time until it shined thru!!!

The brand is called TRUKFIT and the concept behind the name is rather nostalgic for Weezy, it's based of of his experience stealing merchandise off of trucks when he was younger. "When a person could spot a fake, they'd be like 'you got on the truck fit," said Lil Wayne at his presentation last week.

Being a fan of the skater look I would totally rock the peaces that he has in his collection. I love the colors and the graphics. The brand reminds me a lot of Famous Starts and Straps which is a brand that I LOVE.

I for one am very proud of Mr. carter for embracing this side of him.

Kim K Bizz

 After all this commotion about her marriage Kim K needs a break!!!

She and mom Kris Jenner are in Haiti lending a hand to to great organization called We Advance that works with under privileged women. 

"Co-founded by activist and actor, Maria Bello, WE ADVANCE is a movement to advance the health, safety, and well being of women throughout Haiti. We work in some of the poorest slums in all of the western hemisphere – Wharf Jeremy and Cité Soleil – where security issues deter the work of most international NGOs. We start from the bottom because it’s where we are needed the most and, as co-founder and activist, Barbara Guillaume, says: “If we can change the worst of Haiti we can change all of Haiti.”"

BUT!!!! Last night she was at the Sow A Seed Gifts for Kids where she met Haitian artist J Perry and I was informed that while she is down there, Kim K and Donna Karan are talking about investing in Haitian Fashion!!!! We have sooooo much talent down there!!!!

I CANT WAIT!!!!!

 

Yes my lovelies!!! its that time of the year again!!!! We've traded in the flip-flops and swimsuits for some boots and warm sweaters!!!

YAY!!!

As much as I complain about the change of weather this time of year here in MA, I love the shopping opportunities it brings!!!!!

 

So today I'm here to talk about

OFFICE LOOKS

The fall is the perfect season for anyone who works in an office and this year is no exception whether you're business casual or corporate chic  I've got you covered.

Mondays are usually tricky wardrobe wise because you just came off the weekend and you don't want to roll in to the office looking like you rolled in to the office LOL. So a easy cure for "the Mondays"  is A DRESS!!!  It basically makes you look like your making an effort without actually making an effort. I mean... Lord know you haven't even had coffee yet!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

The first option is more casual.  A cute dress with a nice print that I got at H&M. As you can see i belted the dress, it doesn't come with a belt, but because i'm a big girl the belt accentuates my curves and shows off my hour bass shape :) .I paired the dress with a cozy sweater from Marshalls, some cute "make my legs look good" boots, a cute bag. Scarf optional!!  Add your shades and some cute accessories and you have yourself a great Monday!!!!!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

For the girl who has everything... I give you Monday look #2! If you have an early meeting, or if your boss is going to be the first person you see on monday... This is the option for you!!! it screams I KNOW WHAT IM DOING AT ALL TIMES!!!!! lol. its the same dress from H&M (belted!!) paired with a peach colored blazer to bring out the fall colors of the dress. Basic black pumps(these are from charlotte russe) and a polished bag. Scarf is also optional with this look. keep the accessories to a minimum.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  

Since ou pulled off monday without breaking a sweat the rest of the week will be a breeze.

 

Tuesday!

 

If the vibe in your office is not very corporate, you can do this outfit two ways. 1) As you see it! the lone sleeve black T (Old Navy) solid colored skirt(Forever21) black tights, colorful scarf(Zac Posen), Black blazer, basic black pumps and black bag.

OR!!!!!  You can choose to wear either the tights or the blazer depending on how cold it is outside or how dressy you want to go.

This look warrants bagels and long necklaces.

 

The more corporate option would be:

. Long sleeve black T

. Colorful scarf

. Grey Pencil skirt(Target)

. A polished bag (shoe dazzle)                                                                                                                                                                        . Basic black pumps

The weekend is so close you can taste it!!!!

  

You can relax! Its Hump day!!!!!

 Trouser jeans are great for the office (Target)

Now if your going a bit more casual pair it with a sweater, less casual, blaze it up!!!
A pair of black ballerina flats (H&M)

 A black bag

A chunky scarf (H&M) pull your wednesday look together!!!!!

Jeudi....

Light, breezy... care free... all in the name.... JEUDI lol

I am Loving the new breezy top out now and this one from Old Navy works great!!!! Paired with some black pants, a dark or nude tank underneath, some black flats, your trusty black bag and a scarf  and you have conquered the thursday closet monster!!!!!!  The accessories you use for this outfit will determine how casual or not you want to take the outfit.

WOOP!!! WOOP!!!!!!
WE MADE IT!!!!! The week is done!!!! You deserve a break!!!! LOL

   

My friday look is fun, edgy and a little flirty just in case your going out after work, with      friends or on a date.

  Start with a fun tank. Here I have this cute sparkly one(forver21)

  Black denims(Miley Cirus/MaxAzria)

  Black Construction boots and a detailed Jacket give it the look and edge

  A cozy scarf softens it a bit and you trusty black bag. If you want to dress this look up swap  the construction boots for riding boots to pumps.
AND VOILA!!!!! You are ready for you day and your night out!!!!!
